Color Contrast favelet: WCAG 1.0 checkpoint 2.2 Checker
Just bookmark this (rather long) link, and click on it: there you get your WCAG 1.0 checkpoint 2.2 Charlie checker.
Checkpoint 2.2 is the one that deals with color contrast:
Ensure that foreground and background color combinations provide sufficient contrast when viewed by someone having color deficits or when viewed on a black and white screen.
WCAG 1.0 checkpoint 2.2

Works / Doesn't Work in...
- Works in Firefox 1.0.
- Doesn't work in IE. You guess why: bad implementations.
- Doesn't work (favelets not supported) in versions of Opera below 7.5, the OS X browser Safari and Linux's Konqueror.
- Could work in Opera 8. "Opera provides no way for developers to access style sheet objects". Hence it would be horrible.

- This favelet is based on Color List by S.G. Chipman.
- The icons are from the Crystal SVG icon set.
- The algorithm is coming from Techniques For Accessibility Evaluation And Repair Tools.
